The North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH), Shillong, Meghalaya is an autonomous institute newly established under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. The Institute is developed adjacent to the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) at Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, Meghalaya.

On 22nd August, 2015, I took charge as Director, North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH), Shillong. It is indeed a great privilege to have been given an opportunity to head such a unique National Institute.
The NEIAH, Shillong is an autonomous Institute under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. It is situated at Mawdiangdiang, next to the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS). It has Colleges and Hospitals, where education and healthcare are being provided under the Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic Systems of Medicine; all under one platform.
